What is the best way to remove old drywall from walls and ceiling?

I need to do a pretty big rehab project on this property I just bought. Moldy walls and ceiling due to roof leaks. I plan on removing massive amount of the drywall just to be safe. Instead of trying to pound it out with a sledge hammer or something, does anyone know an easier way to remove larger peices? Thanks.
