What is there to do on Long Island?

I live in the smallest town ever on Long Island. The most exhilarating things to do are grocery shopping and seeing foreign movies no one has ever heard of. Websites aren't specific enough to offer anything good, so does anyone know something cool that'll kill a day? I was thinking caves or forests or abandoned buildings or even museums, if they're interesting. Please help me.
