Japanese or german......which language should i go for?

I am a BA psychology student and interested in learning a foreign language. Which language would be beneficial to me and further help me with my field, ie, psychology?? Further i would be taking my GRE in the next 3 years so which language would help me grow in my field? I was thinking of Japanese or German........but if you have some other suggestions, it would be welcome as well.
