What are your thoughts on this?

If we are going to have any chance in winning this war against Islamic radicalism, we are going to have to go through the same change in thought process that Lincoln did during the Civil War. At the beginning his goal was to put the rebellion down and bring the rebel states back into the Union. But he soon realized that it was going to take a lot more than that. So he took off the kid gloves and got out the sledge hammer. His goal became destroying the ability and willingness of the South to fight. His target became the Confederate Army and at the top of that list was the Army of Northern Virginia commanded by Robert E Lee. Surprisingly of his generals only two figured out the same thing and that Grant and Sherman. The same thinking that Lincoln, Grant & Sherman came to is the same thinking are the ones who are fighting this war against Islamic Radicalism is going to have to come to. We are going to have to take off the kid gloves and get out the sledge hammer. Our goal should be to destroy their ability and willingness to fight. And that target has to be not only the terrorists and their leaders but also the people who support them. Also we have to accept the fact they are attacking us on many fronts even here in this country/
